Experimental Video Synopsis

In preparation for University interview I decided that I would write a short Synopsis for my Experimental film.

Imagine being struck in the face with light.  You close your eyes.  What do you see?  An array of vibrant colours contained within a blind space.

After looking at various different directors and artists, such as; Len Lye, Jackson Pollock and Brion Gysin I created a piece of experimental video exploring organic, abstract colours and mark making using non-digital strategies.  In order to achieve this I returned to starting points that were perhaps similar to Len Lye, for example; inks, water, dyes, light and camera.

  

Without even watching the film I think that a majority of an audience would understand what they film would look like aestetically.  People who have an understand of the artists and filmmakers would definallty understand my film synopsis, and could possibly great a mental image of how my film would look.
