Hope Superimpose

Tomorrow I hope to carry on shooting my film.  I plan to shoot some out of focus lights, a cross on a chain swinging, then an extreme close up of somebody kissing the cross.  When the person is kissing the cross I plan on panning the camera from right to left.  I then hope to superimpose the footage over the top of each other.
